For our Advent Calendar beer we wanted to provide a fresh take on our Hoppy Little Lager, so added a seasonal twist... with a twist! Rather than celebrating the British winter, we decided instead to hail the arrival of summer Down Under by charging the beer with NZ Cascade and Nelson Sauvin hops, hand-selected in New Zealand.
Combining German brewing precision with the British tradition of bright and hoppy session beers, it’s fresh and flavoursome, yet crisp and clean. The light base acts as a perfect platform for the New Zealand hops to shine, revealing the full scope of their flavour potential.
Zesty citrus flavours intertwine with grape and tropical fruit, alongside punchy, resinous hop notes. It’s designed for conversation with friends, down-time after work or those times when you want to enjoy a good hit of flavour but still keep it moving afterwards.
